I decided to create a series of lessons-chants, and this prompted me to observe my children and get acquainted with the teaching methodology for reading Nikolai Zaitsev. I made cubes and a table according to his methodology and I can say that they helped us a lot when my daughter learned to read. Now she can read any books according to syllables, provided that the font is large and there are many colorful pictures :) My observations confirm the fact that children love to sing (especially at the age of 4 they try to sing by notes, sing by text) and better remembered if the text is associated with a melody.
Benefits of these lessons:
The syllables in each lesson are arranged in such a way that they are easy to pronounce: from the most open to the closed (a-o-o-s-e). Try it yourself and make sure that it is in this sequence that it is most convenient to pronounce or sing them.
Each consonant is presented in two versions: solid (in combination with vowels oooh) and soft (in combination with vowels i-e-u-u-e).
Unlike N. Zaitsev’s methodology, my lessons use uppercase letters, because the child has to deal with them in book texts, and capital letters in the form of syllables are relatively rare, only in some books and in abbreviations (for the child ba and le It looks completely different than BA and LE).
