Hello! Today we are going to tell you how to draw a girl! This lesson will not be the first one about girls on our site, but apparently our artists just liked to do a lesson dedicated to these beautiful creatures. Today, by the way, we have a comic-style girl on our agenda.
Older artists will surely remember Roger's grotesquely luxurious wife, about whom a whole full-length film was shot. Incidentally, this was the first film in which animated, drawn characters coexisted side by side with live actors. But, we are somehow distracted. Let's start the lesson and find out!
Step 1
In our last lesson on this, you can read about all the features of the proportions of the female body. Now we are going to draw a stickman - a man made of sticks and circles, so they will be useful to us. The main purpose of the stickman is to indicate the position of the character on, his posture and proportions.
So, about the proportions. From the super-duper important, we note that the height of the girl, like, is equal to the sum of the lengths of seven heads, only the girls are on average proportionally lower. A feature of the female figure is also approximately the same width of the shoulders and hips (in men, the shoulders are much wider). By the way, for men, the shoulders are so wide that three head widths fit into their width, for women, the ratio of shoulders and head width is completely different - this is very clearly shown on our stickman.
Of the features of the pose, we note the spine, which bends to one side, the head, which bends to the opposite side, and a slightly sloping line of the hips.
Step 2
In this step, we have to give the stickman the necessary volume, but first we will mark the face, because all the lessons of drawing people on our site are drawn and detailed from head to toe, from top to bottom.
So the face. Let's mark it with a vertical line of facial symmetry, as well as several horizontal lines. The main and longest of the horizontal lines will be the eye line (it is slightly curved downward due to the tilt of the head), the lines of the nose and mouth will be located under it, and the hair line will be high above it.
Let's start with the torso.
The girl's torso has the shape of an hourglass, which expands from above and below (chest and hips, respectively) and narrows in the middle, at the waist. Pay attention to the slight turn of the body - it is indicated by the outer contours and also by the fact that the chest on the right side of us slightly covers the hand. Another point is that the legs, connecting with the body, form obtuse angles on the inside.
Hands should be graceful and thin, the only extension is present at the beginning of the forearm, at the elbow, but it is also insignificant. The hands in this step can be conditionally divided into three parts - the shoulder, forearm and hands.
In general, the main recommendation for this stage is to try to make all the curves of the body as smooth and feminine as possible, there should not be rough, voluminous shapes or sharp angles. 
Step 3
We continue our drawing lesson... Let's outline the hairline of the girl. Conventionally, we can divide it into two parts - the one in front of the face, closer to us, and the one behind the face, it is located in the back of the head.
Pay attention to how these two parts differ in size: the one in front of us exceeds in size not only the second, back part, but even slightly the head itself. At the top right, we sketch out a couple of small balls-decorations located on the rim.
The second action in our step will be to sketch out the lines of the upper part of our girl's clothes. In terms of the location of this piece of clothing, be guided by the previously outlined lines of the arms, torso and hips. By the way, the clothing lines should be drawn from the bottom up.
Step 4
Using the markings on the face, draw one eye, an eyebrow and plump lips. Pay special attention to the shape of the eyebrows, eyes and their location - it is with the help of these factors that the effect of a slight forward tilt is given.
One more thing - the lower lip should be noticeably thicker than the upper one. The lower lip is almost straight, and the lower lip is significantly curved.
Step 5
Erase the extra guide lines from the previous steps from the face and draw the eye, eyebrow, and lips. Pay close attention to the eyelid, the position of the pupil and the lashes - all these details shape the look.
Step 6
Draw the part of the bangs that hide the girl's eye. Don't forget to work on the lapel, which is located approximately in the middle. Hair should be drawn in the direction from the roots to the ends.
Step 7
The rest of the hairstyle should be drawn in the same direction - from the roots of the hair to the ends. Do not forget about the slightly curled ends of the strands, the headband and the decorations on it in the form of three skulls. Step 8
We will trim the left shoulder, chest and neck. Pay attention to the lines that indicate the collarbone - they are not very large and noticeable, but they must be indicated. When drawing the shoulder and chest, use smooth lines - the contours of the body should be feminine and smoothly curved.
Step 9
Erase the extra guide lines from both arms and torso. The body and arms should be edged with tight, confident contours, and the fold lines on the fabric should be lighter. Again, do not forget that the body should have graceful feminine curves, there should not be voluminous muscles or rough contours.
Step 10
We will trim the lower part of the girl's body and legs. Pay attention to the hem and folds on the linen. Use a couple of lines to outline the visible contours of the abdomen.

The main distinguishing feature is the structure of a woman's body - these are wide hips and narrower shoulders (in men, exactly the opposite indicators). Stages of work:
Photo 1. First you need to draw a vertical centerline with a simple pencil. Leave serifs at the edges of the line. They will determine the total body height that cannot be exceeded:
Photo 2. Divide the segment in half. Thus, the line is divided into two parts, along which we will later build the body. Next, divide the upper segment in half again, and measure another half from the resulting upper segment. The uppermost segment is the height of the woman's head:

Let's step back slightly from the head, leaving a little room for the neck. We will draw the line of the shoulders at an angle, because the woman will be standing slightly bent over:
Photo 4. Next, we need to find out where the waist and knees are. To do this, you need to divide the centerline into three parts. To do this easily, we divide the lower half of the center line in half, but the knee line will be slightly higher. We measure its height and transfer it to the centerline three times, leaving serifs. As a result, you should get three equal parts:
Photo 5. Now we outline the waistline. It will be located on the notch between the first and second half of the divided centerline (there are 3 parts in total), and the hips are slightly lower and twice as wide as the waist. Draw the hips and waist at an angle, opposite the shoulders:
