Lavash pie with chicken in sour cream sauce. Lavash pie with chicken, tomatoes and cheese Lavash pie with chicken and potatoes

Recently, all products made from pita bread have become very popular: pies, burritos, casseroles, shawarma. Adults and children eat them with pleasure.

Lavash simplifies kitchen chores for every housewife; dishes made from it are quick and tasty. Today we will make lavash pie with chicken and cheese. You can come up with many variations of such a pie, I wanted to bake this one.

To start cooking, take the necessary products.

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.

In heated vegetable oil, fry the chicken fillet pieces until white.

Add thinly sliced onions, chopped garlic and fry until the onions are translucent.

Then add the peeled tomato to the saucepan, salt the dish, and sprinkle with spices. In three minutes the filling will be ready.

Prepare the filling. To do this, mix any fermented milk product (in this case kefir) with an egg and add salt.

Grease a 20x30 cm mold with vegetable oil. Place the pita bread with one edge in the mold as shown in the photo to create folds.

Brush the pita bread with the prepared filling to make it manageable and juicy. Place fried chicken pieces.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and herbs. Cover the filling with the opposite side of the pita bread, folding it again. I have a long pita bread, it was enough to wrap it two and a half times. Repeat the layers each time, remembering to grease the pita bread with filling first.

Place the second pita bread in this way, grease it and repeat the filling.

The last layer is chicken, cheese and herbs.

Cover the pie with the remaining side of the pita bread, tucking it inside the edges. Lubricate with filling. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.

After 10 minutes, remove the pie from the oven and spread the mozzarella pieces over the surface. Place back in the oven for another 15 minutes.

As soon as the pie is browned, you can remove it from the oven. Lavash pie with chicken and cheese is ready.

Enjoy!

Today I will prepare a simple and very tasty snack pie from thin pita bread with two types of cheese, which go well together in this recipe. This pita meat pie with chicken and cheese should be served while it is still hot. In this case, you can feel the cheese filling, which gently stretches behind every bitten bite, and the crispy Parmesan crust. The recipe for making such a layered cheese pie is quite simple, and step-by-step photos will demonstrate all stages of preparation.

We will need:

  • 200 grams of processed cheese (2 pcs);

How to cook lavash pie with chicken and cheese in the oven

We start preparing the dish by preheating the oven. While we are preparing the chicken puff pastry, preheat the oven to 190°C.

Place the eggs and soft melted cheese into the blender bowl at the same time.

Mix everything until the mass becomes creamy.

Add the chicken pieces to the blender and the cheese mixture. Add paprika and dry hot pepper there. Whisk.

Grease a mold or frying pan with oil and place the first sheet of lavash on the bottom.

Place two spoons of cheese filling from a blender on it and distribute it throughout the pita bread.

Cover this layer with a second sheet of pita bread and add the cheese mixture again. We continue to assemble the pie in this manner until the pita bread and cheese mixture are gone. Lightly coat the last sheet of lavash with the cheese mixture (0.5 tbsp) and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.

Bake our meat pie snack in the oven for 18-20 minutes.

Transfer the still-not-cooled layered lavash cake with filling to a plate or large cutting board and you can enjoy it.

And here is the long-awaited piece of chicken cheese pie, covered with a charming crispy Parmesan crust.

The above recipe will allow you to very quickly prepare a very tasty and satisfying dish of pita bread in the oven.

Thin Armenian lavash has become a real godsend for housewives who do not like to fuss with dough, since it does an excellent job as a base for sweet and savory pies, and is used to prepare lazy pizza and strudel.

If we focus on pies, then special attention should be paid to those prepared with cheese filling. Melted cheese on hot lavash can send even the most capricious gourmet into ecstasy.

There are many options for cheese filling: with cheese and herbs, with cheese and chicken, with cheese and mushrooms. It's hard to stop and choose the best one. There are several ways to form a lavash pie, depending on the chosen filling.

Do not forget that lavash is a finished product, so it must be topped with eggs and sour cream (mayonnaise). Otherwise, the top of the pie may burn, and the filling will remain raw.

Simple recipe

This recipe is quite simple: pita bread, cheese and filling. However, the taste may vary depending on the type of cheese used for the filling. In the proposed version, two types are used - Russian and Suluguni. The dish can be served either hot or cold.

Cheese pie with mushrooms from lavash in a slow cooker

A multicooker can perfectly replace the oven when preparing a lavash pie. The only downside to this method is that the cooking time increases slightly.

Ingredients:

  • 1 thin pita bread;
  • 300 grams of fresh champignons;
  • 200 grams of hard cheese;
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil;
  • 200 ml fat kefir;

Calorie content: 153.0 kcal/100 grams.

  2. Coarsely grate the cheese using a grater;

  4. Place the pita bread on the table, distribute the mushrooms on top, sprinkle them with cheese. Roll the pita bread into a roll and place it in the multicooker bowl, pour kefir with eggs and herbs on top.
  5. Cook in the “Baking” mode for 50 minutes, then remove the pie, turn over and bake for another 20 minutes. If the multicooker does not have such a mode, then you can use others (“Cake” or “Steamer”).

You can serve the finished lavash pie with unsweetened fillings with sour cream, ketchup or other favorite sauce, sprinkled with fresh herbs.

For recipes, you can use both store-bought pita bread and homemade flatbread. It doesn't have to be fresh. Thanks to the pouring, the hardened sheets will soften and thus can be resuscitated.

Typically, the size of a sheet of store-bought lavash is 55 by 70 centimeters. This must be taken into account when choosing a pan for baking a pie. If you take a round shape, then it is better to stop at a diameter of 20 cm. The amount of products indicated in the recipes is enough for a cake with such a diameter and a height of 5-8 cm.

Prepare lavash pies with cheese in the oven, changing the filling each time, and enjoy their wonderful taste! Bon appetit!
