Diet pancakes

Ingredients :

  • oat flakes (rolled oatmeal) – 1 cup,
  • semolina - 1 glass,
  • kefir – 0.5 l.,
  • 0.5 tsp each salt and soda,
  • sugar – 1-2 tbsp. (you don't have to add it)
  • eggs – 2 pcs.

If desired, you can add 1 tbsp. bran, a handful of fresh or frozen berries or grated apple.

Preparation:

1. Mix oatmeal and semolina in a bowl, pour kefir over them, stir and let stand for about 2 hours. It’s convenient to do this in the evening and then in the morning all you have to do is add the rest of the ingredients and the dough will be ready.

2. Add eggs, salt, soda, sugar to the mixture and mix well. The dough, depending on the kefir, may turn out to be of different consistency, and if you think it is runny, don’t be afraid, the pancakes will turn over perfectly.

If you add an apple or berries, then to be sure you can add 1-2 tbsp. bran or flaxseed flour (see,), but not necessarily.

3. Bake pancakes or pancakes - whichever you prefer. What I get is something in between: no longer pancakes, but not yet pancakes.

They always turn out fluffy and very filling, vaguely reminiscent of thick yeast pancakes, only denser. But in fact, these are dietary pancakes that do not harm the figure at all.

A delicious breakfast with these pancakes, if you're watching your figure, will certainly lift your spirits: it's not often that you treat yourself to such dishes (beauty requires sacrifice!).
