Physics has just become an obligatory, attractive part of the race, it has become so everywhere - and Codemasters did not contradict the generally accepted. Almost all game elements, including the destruction of objects, have become adjustable, if someone likes hardcore, you can turn on the complete destruction. If the broken chassis haunts you, and you are not going to fly off the track because of this, you can turn off the destruction. And then the wheels will fly away in an unknown direction. In general, destruction, along with auto-assistance and auto-braking, can perfectly amuse you with friends or a friend. Both are implemented perfectly and do not get bored at all, as in Schift 2.

If you want more variety, then the game has a huge number of different modes, from the usual rally to show drifts. In any of them you can and should play together or with a large number of opponents. The graphics are great, lots of special effects. All the details are drawn, when a collision occurs, the whirling is transmitted to the fullest. Of particular interest will be the slow replay of collisions or the replay of the race itself. Only if you want to fully enjoy the richness and detail of graphics, XP together with Direx 9 will not pull it, you need something higher. And spoil the impression.

The result is a game with almost no downsides. But they still exist! First I must say that there are no buns on the car, this somewhat depersonalizes the car. No shards on dashboards or fire on the hood. Then: for some reason, in the co-op, you can’t turn off the view from the steering wheel. Then another thing: no Russian locations! But, you see, these are not so significant details that you don’t sit down and play mind-blowing races, in its period this game can frankly be called the best cooperative race!

Mud baths on cars are the lot of real men. Fighting with a steering wheel on a track streaked with rain and ice is far from the same thing as competing in the amount of smoke from under the wheels on highways flooded with city neon. No incredible overtaking, only one car on the track, looking completely helpless against the backdrop of majestic nature.

Codemasters again surprises with its combination of arcade and car simulator, but if Dirt 2 was closer to a hardcore simulator, then the third part perfectly withstands both of these genres.
The developers have fixed all the minuses of the previous part. Namely, a little crazy physics, an uncomfortable menu and the monotony of the tracks. Physics has become such a thoughtful and integral part of racing that all developers began to pay great attention to it. And Codemasters is no exception. Destruction (as well as almost all other elements of the game) is adjustable, I advise hardcore players to turn on full destruction, but if you don't want to fly out stres because of a broken axle or missing wheels, then turn off destruction. But personally, I advise you to turn on destruction, turn off auto braking and auto-assistance (which, by the way, is very well implemented and doesn’t eat, unlike Schift 2, for example) and you and your friend or friends will get an unforgettable feeling of fun.
Want more variety? No problem! Dirt 3 has an incredible sea of ​​​​many modes from a standard rally to a show skid. And each of them is definitely worth playing together. What is needed for a large variety of modes? Of course, a variety of cars. It is your faithful iron horse that will help you defeat everyone and everything! Yes, maybe there are not as many cars here as we would like, but they are sold on a petyarka with a plus. Here, another advantage of the game is brewing, the cars here are not fictional iron basins, but real portatypes of cars. Remember how the second game in the series was scolded for the monotony of the landscape, perhaps you don’t remember. But it's in Dirt 3 that the level design is amazing. You'll see from the snow-capped mountains of Aspen, to a parking lot in New York. And I almost forgot about setting up the car, it, like all other functions in the game, can be amateur and professional, although you can’t assemble the car piece by piece, the setting is still good.
It's time to talk about graphics. The special effects in the game are astounding when you smash in and see every bit of every bit of the car or the whirl. It is especially interesting to watch a replay of the race and slow down time in a collision. Unfortunately on Dirext 9 (and therefore on XP) the graphics are not as impressive as we would like.

In the end, I praised the game so much that I forgot about the minuses, but they are all present. First: I personally did not like the reduction of vinyl on the car and the lack of any plush (in the form of a skull on the dashboard). Secondly: I am annoyed by the lack of the ability to turn on the view from the steering wheel during a cooperative game. Thirdly: Russian localization, or rather its absence. And the last minus: a strong division of gamers according to the straightness of their hands, this is discrimination! But despite these disadvantages (which I may have sucked out of my finger), the game is worth the candle. I think this is the best co-op racing game of at least this year and one of the best 2 player games!
