First you need to decide that we are preparing a cream, balm or fatty ointment. Will it be an “oil-in-water” cream (light natural cream, hair mask, balm) or “water-in-oil” (preparing an ointment). Accordingly, it is necessary to choose an emulsifier with a suitable hydrophilic-lipophilic balance. It is necessary to pay attention to the composition of the emulsifier - whether it is synthetic or natural, and not all emulsifiers are suitable for home-made cream, as some require certain technologies.

How does an emulsifier work? Some sources write that the emulsifier is dissolved in a dispersion medium (which is more) and after complete dissolution and bringing both phases to the same temperature, the fat is mixed with the liquid, and if a direct oil-in-water emulsion is prepared, then the oil is gradually poured into the water with an emulsifier and vice versa to obtain a water-in-oil emulsion, water is introduced into the oil with an emulsifier. In fact, where to dissolve the emulsifier and what to pour into what does not really matter, because. obtaining a homogeneous mixture of oil-in-water or water-in-oil depends on the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of the emulsifier.

To obtain a direct emulsion (oil in water), a hydrophilic emulsifier (HLB from 8 to 15) is needed, and a reverse emulsifier is a lipophilic one (HLB from 3 to 8). Here is an example of an emulsifier formula: There is a "tail" in the formula, which can be hydrophobic or hydrophilic. If there are more hydrophobic (oily) tails, the less is the ability to hold more water, and vice versa, if there are more hydrophilic (water - OH) tails, the greater the ability to hold a lot of water, so an emulsion will turn out oil-in-water.

That is, when choosing an emulsifier, you need to be guided by the properties of the desired cream, its fat content (water in oil or oil in water) and the properties of the emulsifier. In the description of the emulsifier, the percentage of input and the temperature in which it dissolves (usually 50-70 degrees) are usually written, and for which emulsions it is intended.

WHICH EMULSER TO CHOOSE?

good emulsifier Esther de sucre. It has little effect on the absorption of the cream, but when using it, there is no “stearin” effect - sensations on the skin after application. Good for light day creams.

Niccolipid consists of batyl alcohol and purified soy lecithin. With it, you can make creams, masks that have a good affinity for the skin and provide a high degree of moisture, since the structure of the emulsifier is similar to sebum, suitable for dry skin. It is a functional lipid complex composed primarily of batyl alcohol and purified soy lecithin. This complex has the properties of an emulsifier, anti-inflammatory activity, provides deep hydration and improves skin texture. The standard input percentage is as follows: the amount of the oil phase is 7 - 15% (lotion) - 1.5%, the amount of the oil phase is more than 15% (cream) - 3.5%. Preparation technology: add Nikkolipid to the oil phase, separately heat the oil and water phases to a temperature of 70-80 °C. While stirring, add the oil phase to the water phase. The resulting emulsion is slowly cooled with stirring. Stirring is stopped at a temperature not exceeding 35 °C.

Emulsifier Montanov- a new generation non-ionic emulsifier based on alkyl polyglucosides and fatty alcohols, obtained from plant biomass. It is used to create emulsions with "liquid crystals". (An emulsion with "liquid crystals" is an emulsion in which microparticles of oil are placed in microdrops of water, which, in turn, are in microdrops of oil, and so on ad infinitum. The result is a "crystalline multilayer gel or cream") The emulsifier is heated separately from oils, when everything has melted, only then the oils are added to the montana, mixed well and added to the aqueous phase, again we stir with a spoon / stick and only then we start whisking. Gradually the mixture emulsifies and thickens. When the mixture is already more or less thick, put it in the refrigerator. After 10 minutes, take out and beat again. And so several times! The cream is thick, even without solid oils in the composition and auxiliary emulsifiers! Vitamins and extracts are added at the end - the cream becomes even thicker! Recommended dosage: 1-5%

The most common Base emulsifier or Glyceryl monostearate, it is obtained on the basis of palmitic and stearic acid, does not contain irritating additives and does not damage the skin. Although considered to be a naturally occurring emulsifier, it can also be produced synthetically and is therefore not one of the most environmentally friendly cosmetic ingredients. Recommended dosage: 5-10% (optimally 6%). It is introduced into the liquid phase when it is heated to 70-75°C. It is most successfully used as a co-emulsifier.

Here you can also add the VE emulsifier and Lamecrem, consisting of vegetable oils, glycerin and citric acid.

Lamecrem today it consists exclusively of herbal ingredients. Concentration in recipes: 5-10% in the finished end product. Cosmetic action: creams using Lamecrem bind moisture and create a pleasant, smooth skin feeling. This emulsifier is especially well suited for combination skin, for night creams that need to be a bit more oily. Lamecrem can be used in combination with other emulsifiers, such as Tegomuls, resulting in a “lighter” cream.

Emulsifier Emulsan consisting of part grape sugar and part vegetable fat (palmitic and stearic fatty acids). Optimal concentration: 2-8%. Cosmetic effect: Emulsan gives all skin types a pleasant, smooth feeling, moisturizes and protects the skin, caring for it.

Simulgel leaves a soft, delicate, easily absorbed texture. And most importantly, nothing gets hot. Everything mixes well by simple stirring. Emulsifies well with aloe and hazelnut oils. Simulgel 600 is a pre-neutralized liquid polymer gelling agent based on the "Hydro Swelling Droplets" concept ready for use in creams and gels. Forms stable cream-gels with oil components (o/w) without the presence of other emulsifiers. Stability of oil-gel compositions at a concentration of 3% simulgel and 10% oils. Suitable for the preparation of products without phase heating (“cold method”) and formulations with components for which heating is unacceptable. Gives a pleasant tactile sensation when applied to the skin. Add Simulgel to the water part, stirring, wait for dispersion and gel formation. Introduce water-soluble additives, stir. If the gel turned out to be of insufficient viscosity, add another portion of simulgel. Add the oil part, stir well (you can use a mixer, but avoid driving air bubbles into the cream). You can enter up to 12% of oils as a maximum. Heating up to 60ºC is allowed.

Emulsifier Tegomuls generally from algae, it is also added to food in the production of ice cream. Creams and lotions are very light and pleasant, perfectly absorbed by the skin, leaving no greasy film behind. In combination with Shea Butter or Cetyl Alcohol, excellent results can be obtained. Optimal concentration in recipes: 2-15% The melting point of Tegomuls is around 65° - 68°C.

Sucrose stearate derived from natural sugars and vegetable oils and it is a fully vegetable emulsifier, it can also be used as a moisturizing active additive as it has a strong moisturizing effect. Sucrose stearate is a very powerful humectant and is recommended as a co-emulsifier and stabilizer to give creams strong moisturizing properties. Sucrose stearate is soluble in both the aqueous and fatty (oily) phases. It is preferable to dilute Sucrose stearate in a warm aqueous phase, stirring at room temperature or when heated to +40C. The usual concentration is from 5% to 20% in the aqueous phase of the cream.

Emulsion wax- a mixture of potassium salts of phosphoric acid esters with higher fatty alcohols of the same fraction. The presence of phosphorus groups makes it close to lecithin and cephalin, which are part of sebum. Thanks to this emulsion wax has an effective softening effect on the skin. Prevents water loss, does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin. It is mainly used to produce fatty creams "oil / water" thick consistency at a concentration of 2 to 7%. Emulsion wax blends well with other emulsifiers, and adding it in small amounts (about 2%) to the main emulsifiers in the formulation will only increase the stability and consistency of the final product.

Very light, airy, but without air bubbles, emulsions are obtained with kappa and lecithin.

Emulsifier Kappa- a derivative of three vegetable waxes - rice, candelilla and jojoba, has the ability to retain water 6 times its own weight, helps to create a cream with a rich texture and a feeling of softness when applied. Concentration: 4-6%. Solubility: water - insoluble, vegetable oils - soluble at a temperature of 60C.

Lecithin obtained for cosmetics from egg yolks, sunflower seeds, soybeans. Produced on an industrial scale
from soybean and sunflower oils, egg yolk. In cosmetics (including decorative) it is used in skin care products and as an active additive and as an emulsifier. As an active additive in cosmetics, lecithin is used as a softening, toning and moisturizing substance for the skin, which helps to restore its barrier functions and prevents the evaporation of moisture from the deep layers, activates lipid metabolism in the skin, softens it, and optimizes the function of the sebaceous glands. Concentration of use: as an active additive - 0.5-3%, as an emulsifier - 3-20%. Disadvantage: cosmetics with lecithin spoil very quickly (7 days in the refrigerator - maximum), of course, you can use a preservative to increase the period. Lecithin in urea cream can form N-nitroso compounds

cetyl alcohol used to reduce the fat content of the cream. The cream turns out to be less greasy than with polavax, olive, Ecomuls, basic emulsifier. Does not cause irritation, does not clog pores. Cetyl alcohol is derived from palmitic acid, the main constituent of palm kernel oil, which is treated with liquid gas to remove free oxygen atoms. It should be melted in the fatty phase in a volume of 0.5-6% along with other oils, then the process of preparing the emulsion is standard

The lightest, transparent, gel-like structures are obtained using 7% sucrose and 3% cetyl alcohol.Different in stability and super-hydration!

A more nutritious combination for the cream will be the composition of wax (3%), cetyl alcohol (3%) and sucrose stearate (7%)

agar- seaweed gelling agent. Agar diluted in water, bring to a boil and boil for two minutes, the resulting gel is used until it is warm and thickened. It is a natural gel-forming agent, has detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, soothing properties, is widely used to create masks with a moisturizing effect, gel on agar is an SOS remedy for lack of sleep, bags under the eyes, allergies and swelling. Completely dissolves only at temperatures from 95 to 100 degrees. The hot solution is clear and limitedly viscous. Dosage: 1 gram per 120 ml of liquid.

Xanthan- a polysaccharide obtained as a result of glucose fermentation will provide skin hydration, make it more elastic and more elastic, create a protective film, caviar will have a lifting effect.

Beeswax used in cooking:
. cleansers
. creams and lotions
. emollient and protective creams
. lip balms
. nail care products
. sunscreen

Concentration:
Standard dosage: 2-10%.
As part of creams - up to 5%.
In lip balms and lipsticks - up to 10%
Beeswax gives mixtures softening and anti-inflammatory properties, it is very slowly absorbed by the skin without clogging the pores.

Wheat emulsifier (xylians) gives a very good consistency of cream, foam for washing. Doesn't loosen. The cream is stored for a long time and retains its consistency until the end of use. Xilians is a mixture of vegetable sugars derived from wheat bran and fatty alcohol from palm oil. Input percentage: from 3% to 6%
good emulsifier Xilians (WHEAT EMULSIFYING WAX), with it the creams are dense and airy - it depends on the whipping time. If you beat for about 3 minutes with a break of 1 minute, you get an airy mousse. But if you overbeat, then this airiness can very much settle down and then you get a liquid part and foam on top. So is Xillians very capricious, you have to get used to it. But on the other hand, creams with it are so luminous, beautiful and good on the skin. Nourishing creams are especially good with it, it holds a lot of oil.

How to use xylians:
The emulsifier is heated in the fatty phase until completely melted, at about 70 degrees; the oil phase is added to the water phase and mixed with a mixer for 3 minutes, then homogenized at a moderate pace until completely cooled. Everywhere they write that it is a self-sufficient emulsifier that can emulsify without co-emulsifiers, so they are cunning, not only is it capricious, it needs a co-emulsifier, and it can be cetyl alcohol, beeswax or cocoa and shea butter - then it will work out perfectly .

Here are examples of creamy textures that can be achieved with xylians.

For all skin types

Oily, nourishing but not greasy

* 6% powdered emulsifying wax
* 30% Macadamia oil
* 64% water

Butter sour cream, nourishing

*8% powdered emulsifying wax
* 30% sesame oil

* 4.4% Mango Butter
* 4.5% Mimosa wax
* 39.1% water

Water-in-oil emulsion, highly nourishing frothy silk cream

* 3% powdered emulsifying wax
* 3% soy lecithin
* 47.5% Macadamia oil
* 4% Mango Butter
* 4% Mimosa wax
* 38% water

Shea Butter, if you work with it in a cold way, is also an emulsifier. The principle is this - it is necessary to rub it, without heating, with a spatula to a creamy state. And then add a little bit of liquid oil and water.
The proportions should be
2 parts shea
1 part liquid oil
1 part water

INTERESTING:

If we consider that in the manufacture of the cream we use only 3-5% of the emulsifier, which is 1-1.5 g per 30 g of cream, and we use the cream for a month, then it turns out that every day only 0.03-0 falls on our skin, 05 gr emulsifier. Therefore, use natural emulsifiers. Also, aggressive preservatives such as parabens are of great danger, but again, they can be replaced with natural ones, and these are essential oils, extracts, more in the article preservatives.

... well, that's all, perhaps!

To avoid the "Cons", when making homemade cosmetics, carefully read all the parts and all parts

Eleven rules of "KREMOVAR"

Rule number one and most important: Love yourself and what you are passionate about.

Second. Learn theory. Find out the truth by separating questionable data.

There are nets for the buyer on the Internet and many fall into them. A lot of unverified information about how to prepare cosmetics yourself. Many manufacturers are interested in selling components for making cream. Some lie... or simply withhold information. Find out for yourself what to do and how to do it. Trust only serious forums and large sites offering natural products. Ask independent experts about the properties of emulsifiers and preservatives. Even the most harmless ingredients, at first glance, if the percentage is not observed, can harm your skin - disrupt metabolism, destroy the hydrolipid balance, cause an allergic reaction.

Third. Consider the condition of the skin and the time of year.

If you decide to create a home-made cream, then first, determine the condition of your skin. The cream must match its type. It is known that the skin dry, oily, fading, childish, problematic, etc.

Remember that the Creme should be created taking into account the weather and season : winter, summer, off-season. Cream for the cold season is significantly different in composition from the summer, designed to cool and protect from the sun.

Fourth. Analyze.

Having collected all the data about the type of skin, the state of nature-weather, carefully analyze what you want to get as a result of your creativity - oily cream, light emulsion, cleansing milk, mousse or gentle gel. Determine right away what functional load do you want to give to your cosmetic product.

You can do:

  • Day cream as a basis for cosmetics.
  • Nourishing night cream.
  • Whitening cream for freckles and pigmentation.
  • Healing cream for problematic skin.
  • Hand cream, moisturizing.
  • Cream - scrub for heels.
  • The ultimate eye cream.
  • Shaving cream.
  • Baby cream.
  • and so on…

Fifth. Choose the right ingredients.

Once you have decided what you want to get as a result, you need to choose the right ingredients. At first glance, "an inexperienced chemist", it's easy - you take a recipe from the Internet and that's it! If so, then the counters with ready-made cosmetics would have disappeared from the fields of commerce long ago.

This is a very important step. Any deviation can lead to the failure of all your efforts. And your cream will go, at best, as a base for essential oils, intended for taking a bath.

Please note that not all ingredients are suitable for making cream at home.

If you haven't quit reading yet and are still here, then I have good news for you! you can find out details about the ingredients, find the names of substances, dosage recommendations and technologies for the use of a particular substance. You can find out what the benefits of the components can be and what are the contraindications for use. This will help you decide on the composition of the recipe for an individual cream.

Green Sachet- The online store has recently significantly expanded the range of products for creaming.

Sixth. Be modest in your wishes, especially at the beginning of the journey.

Don't try to use all of the options at once. Do something very simple to start with and test how it affects your skin. An excessive amount of components can cause individual intolerance, an allergic reaction. Some fatty oils can clog pores, provoke the formation of comedones. It is possible that this is not “your” composition of the cream, and it will be difficult to determine in time what exactly the reaction is. Therefore, add components gradually and as problems arise. To start, use 2-3 active ingredients.

Move from simple to complex. It is better to try to make a fat cream first, and then move on to lighter textures.

Seventh. Observe dosages.

Do a small volume if you are not sure about the proposed recipe and how the cream will behave on your skin. Beginners are advised to take the simplest and most inexpensive components in order to get their master class. With experience, you will be able to increase production volumes and create a cream not only for yourself, but also for your loved ones.

Keep in mind that the cream is made based on the percentage. Always consider the density of the ingredients. If the recipe is offered in different dimensions, then convert them to percentages. Remember that all components have their own mass, which is independent of volume. For example, oil is heavier than water. A teaspoon of water and a teaspoon of oil are not the same thing. .

For example, Heel cream differs from eye cream primarily in the amount of fatty oils. The lighter you make the emulsion, the more liquid it should contain, and the more water, the more preservatives are required.

Eighth. Buy your ingredients carefully.

Buy ingredients only from trusted suppliers . When buying ingredients for your cream, be sure to ask about expiration dates. Find out the nature of the product, what the ingredient is made of, what origin it has, what effect it has on the skin, how it is compatible with other ingredients. This will save you money and effort, and most importantly, you will not harm the skin.

Ninth. Do a skin test.

Test all ingredients for individual intolerance. If an ingredient, such as lemon juice or honey, causes you an allergic reaction, then 99% that it will provoke a skin reaction. It is known that some substances are not compatible, therefore, they can give a reaction with the release of an additional substance. Therefore, the cream must be made carefully using product compatibility data. The finished cream is the same - you need to test it!

You can do the test like this: Apply a small amount to the crease of the elbow joint. Track within 2-3 hours - there is a reaction or not. If there is redness, itching, swelling, rash, and sometimes respiratory symptoms: runny nose, cough. Then this component is better not to use. Eliminate it from the recipe and find what is right for you. The test for children is done under the spatula on the back.

Tenth. Be careful.

Everything should be like in the operating room! Clean hands, sterile instruments. Sterilize all containers and instruments over steam, boiling and rubbing with alcohol. Hands before the procedure, be sure to put on latex gloves or wipe with alcohol. Thoroughly wash all the plants that you decide to use in your cosmetics.
Do not use your finger when trying the cream. To do this, you can purchase a special glass spatula or disposable spatulas.
To prepare an emulsion for a cream, use only clean water without harmful impurities.
For grinding loose components, herbs, gums, use porcelain, wooden or glass pestles.
Do not use metal containers. They can cause oxidation.
Apply the cream only to cleansed skin.

Eleventh. Store properly.

Store raw materials correctly, as required by storage conditions.
The cream should be stored in a porcelain, ceramic or glass jar. Plastic packaging is not suitable for storage. Store homemade cosmetics in the refrigerator if they are made with a vegetable preservative. On average, the shelf life is 3-4 weeks. If you used a preservative in the recipe, then your cream can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 years.

Hi all!

Again I am talking about the products ordered in the online store of natural cosmetics "AMPHORA".

Today my review is about a product that is needed for the preparation of cosmetics at home.

Emulsifiers- substances that provide the creation of emulsions from immiscible liquids.

Price: 150 rubles.

Volume: 100 gr.

The label contains information about the product: name, volume, etc.

The emulsifier is a solid mass resembling a bar of soap, odorless.

To prepare the face cream, I will need the following ingredients:

The water phase is mint hydrolate (you can use ordinary purified water).

Peppermint hydrosol is one of the best remedies for toning the skin of the face and restoring freshness. Mint water acts more gently and mildly than peppermint essential oil, so it is well received even by sensitive skin.
Mint water is a natural tonic and antiseptic, the aromatic formula of which makes it possible to include this water in formulations intended both for the care of polluted, oily, prone to inflammation skin, and in products for raising the tone and improving the color of skin prone to stress, fatigue and premature aging. The anti-edematous and anti-couperous effect of mint water will carefully complement the care designed to restore smoothness, purity and uniformity to the skin.

Fatty phase - oils: coconut, aloe vera, cucumber seeds, jojoba.

Unrefined coconut oil protects the skin from the harmful effects of direct sunlight, softens rough skin on the hands and feet, and helps heal cracked lips.

Aloe oil is a natural biostimulant and an effective basis for nourishing, skin-care formulations. The product, when applied to the skin, activates the body's production of collagen and elastin fibers. Regular use of the oil composition reduces the depth of skin wrinkles and slows down the aging process.

Cucumber oil is perfect for caring for any type of skin, including oily, problematic, acne-prone, as well as dry and aging skin. Soothes sensitive and irritated skin. The presence of phytosterols and linoleic acid in cucumber oil works to restore the lipid barrier, reduce trans-epidermal water loss, and is perfect for dehydrated skin.

Amazing properties of jojoba oil: moisturizing, softening, fast-acting and long-lasting, nourishing, lifting and wrinkle smoothing, protective, antioxidant cleansing, as well as a soothing and hypoallergenic effect.

As you know, water and oil do not mix, for this an emulsifier is needed, it helps to make the consistency of the cosmetic product homogeneous creamy.

The active ingredients for the cream are tea tree essential oil and elastin.

Essential oil of tea tree has properties: b acticidal, antifungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, aromatherapy.

Elastin is a protein that promotes cell regeneration and repair.

I pour 7 teaspoons of mint hydrosol into one glass glass.

In the second glass, I add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera oil, 1 teaspoon of cucumber seed oil, 1 teaspoon of jojoba oil, and 1 teaspoon of Emulsifier to the fatty phase.

I put the aqueous and fatty phases in a water bath.

I constantly stir the fatty phase.

When the Emulsifier in the fatty phase melts, I start mixing by adding the hydrolate to the fatty phase and mixing thoroughly.

The solution immediately turns white when stirred, a homogeneous consistency is obtained, while liquidish, but already reminiscent of a cream.

For various reasons, not all girls have a desire to go to the store to buy skin care products, and therefore you can apply experiments - choose recipes for basic face creams and cook them at home. But in order to properly prepare an effective mixture, you need to learn about the ingredients, study recipes suitable for a particular skin type.

The most useful cream ingredients

You can find a large number of homemade cosmetics recipes for making your own hands. But at the same time, it is necessary to take into account the type of your skin, as well as choose only high-quality components in order to achieve a guaranteed good result. First you need to study the list of the main components that are used in this case:

  1. For dry skin types, it is advisable to use chamomile, pine or lavender oil. Rose, jasmine, calendula and patchouli oils are also suitable.
  2. Sensitive skin. Oil derived from rose, burdock, lemon, St. John's wort, sea buckthorn, verbena, orange, fir and spruce.
  3. Oily: Grape seed, corn, almond, cumin, bergamot, grapefruit, orange and rosemary oils.

The presence of any selected ingredient should be approximately 30% or more of the total weight of the cooked product.

On the positive side, the above ingredients are easy to find in stores or grocery stores. As you can see, all creams consist of natural ingredients, and therefore there will be no problems when using and buying.

It is also worth noting the low cost of the components, and therefore the money will have to be spent much less than on a store product.

Some recipes contain chemicals. It can be peroxide, glycerin. They can also be easily purchased at pharmacies without a prescription.

If essential oils are included in the composition, then it is worth buying them only from a trusted source, where only high-quality products are distributed. This point is very important, because bad oil causes a number of undesirable consequences.

If after using the ingredients, there is a small margin left, then you should not throw it away. The components will be useful for making cream next time.

Before making the cream, you need to make sure that there is no allergic reaction to any of the types of products.

Professional cosmetologists in some cases recommend using handmade face creams instead of spending money on them in expensive salons. There are a number of significant reasons for this:

  1. Many people are allergic to certain standard ingredients in over-the-counter products. Self-mixing all the most useful ingredients is the solution to the problem.
  2. The resulting composition is 100% natural.
  3. You can choose the composition yourself, starting from the type of your skin.
  4. The beautician will always help you choose the right composition, if you ask about it. This is a definite plus for home use.

It is undesirable to store the finished product in the refrigerator for more than 1 week. On the Internet they write that some decoctions are stored for 14 days, but you should not take risks and use them for more than 7 days.

  4. The face mask is applied along the massage lines.
  5. The retention period on the face is 10 minutes.

We offer you to look at the cream recipe at home:

Summing up the information, we can conclude that it is not necessary to purchase expensive face creams that will effectively help to cope with various problems. You just need to choose the right ingredients and choose the right recipe for a particular skin type, and all other operations are carried out at home. With your own hands there is no difficulty in creating a quality cream.

Homemade face cream - ingredients at hand

Making a face cream with your own hands is not an easy procedure. The choice of ingredients for your skin type is extremely important. But that is not all. Even the right components will not "work" if they are mixed in inaccurate proportions. If a homemade face cream is made according to all the rules, then it will have a number of advantages over the purchased one.

Characteristics of homemade cream

First you need to note its advantages and disadvantages. The benefits of homemade cream include:

If you want to improve the condition of your hair, you should pay special attention to the shampoos you use. A frightening figure - 96% of shampoos of popular brands contain components that poison our body. The main substances, due to which all the troubles, are indicated on the labels as sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, coco sulfate, PEG. These chemical components destroy the structure of the curls, the hair becomes brittle, loses elasticity and strength, the color fades. But the worst thing is that this muck gets into the liver, heart, lungs, accumulates in the organs and can cause cancer. We advise you to refrain from using products containing this chemistry. Recently, the experts of our editorial staff conducted an analysis of sulfate-free shampoos, where the first place was taken by funds from the company Mulsan Сosmetic. The only manufacturer of completely natural cosmetics. All products are manufactured under strict quality control and certification systems. We recommend visiting the official online store mulsan.ru If you doubt the naturalness of your cosmetics, check the expiration date, it should not exceed one year of storage.

  • lack of preservatives and harmful substances;
  • homemade cream of a suitable composition, as a rule, gives a better result than store cosmetics;
  • do not contain hormones;
  • is not addictive.

Perhaps homemade cream has two drawbacks:

  1. relatively high price of ingredients (not always);
  2. a short shelf life (which, rather, can be attributed to a positive quality, demonstrating the natural composition of the cream).

Accounting for some factors

In the preparation of homemade cream, certain nuances must be taken into account.

For oily skin, the main composition of the cream should be supplemented with green tea, calendula and chamomile. With increased secretion of sebum, a decoction of oak bark is added. Dry skin needs such an addition to the cream as hyaluronic acid, which retains moisture in the cells.

In the process of preparing creams, seasonal features should also be taken into account. In winter, as part of the cream, you need to increase the content of essential oils as an additional nutrition for skin cells. In the summer, vegetable and fruit components are useful. They delicately get rid of freckles and age spots, slightly whiten the tone and cleanse the skin with fruit acids.
