The T1 motor matches the appearance of the car - a racing V-shaped "eight" with a volume of 3.5 liters, which develops 575 horsepower and is combined with a six-speed sequential gearbox. The mass of “Caparo” is only 470 kilograms, so acceleration to 160 kilometers per hour takes less than five seconds, and the first “hundred” T1 is gaining less than 2.5 seconds after launch.
The problem of the Kaparo supercar is traditional for piece and incredibly exclusive models - reliability. And if the constant damage to the car during the filming of Top Gear, when T1 was controlled by Jeremy Clarkson, can be attributed to the showman’s too aggressive driving style, then on the Fifth Gear program “Caparo” caught fire in the hands of the two-time champion of the British Touring Championship Jason Playto! On the other hand, the typical buyer of the Focus or Corolla is unlikely to look in the direction of T1, even if he has free money. So the road car worth about 280 thousand euros, most likely, will be in good hands.

The dream of a Lebanese designer David Frem's life came true in 2008. From childhood he was sick dear and fast car - Ferrari and Lamborghini models served as standards for it. Probably not very impressive performance MXT pushed engineers and the management of "Mastretta" to force the standard engine to 290 horsepower. How the power increase on the dynamics affected is still unknown.
